The costs of buying a home in Spain
The cost of buying a home in Spain is between 13 and 14.5%.
This is then 10% VAT (iva) plus a registration fee for the property register.
This also included a lawyer or asessor who translates for you with the Notary, arranges for the transfer of all contracts on
